Highland Creek in Northeast Charlotte is one of the largest master-planned communities in North Carolina with about 13,000 residing there.  The Charlotte-Concord, Mecklenburg-Cabarrus County lines divide Highland Creek.  The community features an 18-hole golf course, 5 community swimming pools, 6 tennis courts, parks, playgrounds and wonderful walking trails.  The Highland Creek Golf Club features a pro shop and restaurant. Five lakes throughout the course add nice water features for the players and the overlooking home owners.  Highland Creek is composed of several different villages, featuring various architectural styles and design.  The community boasts a multitude of community activities, shared recreational facilities and fabulous schools.
