Charlotte NC Real Estate Market Report 12-Month Rolling Closed Sales
Despite the national reports, which are reflecting a slower recovery nationwide, Charlotte continues on the road to a strong recovery. Closed ales are up 15% year-over-year as per the graphs below with 25,946 Closed sales in the Charlotte Metro region over the past 12 months.
How are those sales broken down (single family homes [detached] vs. condo and townhome sales? Single family Closings for the year totaled 22,669, up 14.4% over the same 2011 12-month period. Condos/townhome sales were 3,227 – up 18.7% over the same period in 2011.
