The Charlotte NC real estate market continues down the road of a strong recovery process! With typical holiday season decreased sales, prices continue to rise and our inventory remains quite low as we move into the New Year. Here are the numbers for 2013…
The following are the 2013 totals for the Charlotte real estate market…
Pending home sale in Charlotte (Charlotte Proper only), have increased by 17.7%. A 3.8 month supply of homes (condos, townhomes, single family homes and lots) are currently for sale in the Charlotte (city) market, down 40.3% from last year. Average price per square foot has gone up 12.8% to $105. Charlotte average sales prices rose a whopping 10% to $233,435.
Closed home sales were up 24.9% year-over-year with 12,738 homes Closing in 2013. There are currently only 3,573 properties for sale (active) in the city of Charlotte!
