This popular exhibition was created by students in Denver Botanic Gardens’ School of Botanical Art & Illustration, portraying plants for scientific purposes as well as to celebrate the beauty of the natural world. Experience, first-hand, the fascinating diversity of living things whose lives are intimately interconnected with plants – from food and pollination to shelter and seed scattering.
The Orchid Conservatory is the Carolina’s only glass house — 8,000 square feet under five stories, filled with striking orchids and intriguing tropical plants. If you don’t have time to visit the exhibit, take time to stop by and visit the conservatory. Frequent guest presenter, Russ Bolt, owner of Looking Glass Orchids, also a 30-year veteran expert on the topic, is worth catching at the Conservatory as well.
