Our family has recently relocated here after living overseas for the past three years. Once we knew we would be moving to North Carolina, I found Debe’s webpage and immediately got in contact with her. I was quickly introduced to Scott and he began working with me to find the perfect house. We were arriving early April for 7 days in the U.S., in hopes of buying. Scott made sure we had a several days of house viewings lined up immediately upon our arrival, with more days set aside later in the week as needed. (Mind you this was all done via e-mail)
Upon our arrival, we spent several days searching for a house, and with Scott’s dedicated assistance, a house that I noted popped up early one morning quickly was added to our list per my request. (That ended up being our house!) We worked alongside he and Debe as we placed an offer a few days later, excited that our next move would be into our new home in the states.
Unfortunately, it didn’t work our quite so easily. Over the course of the coming months we faced several challenges with our lender, and the closing date continued to be scheduled, cancelled, and rescheduled. Five months later, we finally closed! Despite this long process, that was anything but easy to face, Debe held our hand. From phone calls and e-mails to text messages, we touched base almost daily as she stayed atop of the issues that presented. She kept the lines of communication going strong with the selling agent and her client as well as with the mortgage broker. As I mentioned, it was anything but simple.
The process was long and grueling – but, never because of our agents. Debe continually went above and beyond any expectations or service I have received from previous home sales. I can’t thank her (and Scott) enough for sticking by us and encouraging us along the process, always making sure we were as important as the day we first made contact. After we drove away from closing, my husband and I both stated – when we decide to sell, or know someone who is, we will not hesitate to recommend Debe and Scott!
Thank you again!
