Charlotte Real Estate Property Revaluations 2011
By now, if you’re a single family home owner, you should have received your 2011 residential property values as of today. Condos and commercial tax revaluations will be mailed during the first week in March, 2011. Many Charlotte real estate owners have received hefty increases in their valuations, which they feel are not in-line with current market data or even recent full appraisals on their property. Mecklenburg County has conveniently supplied a single-page appeal form with your revaluation statement which you received.
IMPORTANT: If you are planning to appeal your new values, you have 30 days to do so. The deadline appears on the revaluation notice, with the portion below the perforation provided you for your appeal.
