There are a variety of units in the Fifth & Poplar Condominiums. 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom floor plans are all available. The complex was built in 2002 and converted to condos in 2005 from apartments and the builder did a fantastic job. You can expect modern spacious layouts with a variety of floorplans. Many of the current owners have done some incredible updating. Granite countertops and stainless steel appliances make for a modern feel in the kitchens.

1-bedroom units run 580-900 square feet, 2-bedroom units are between 900 & 1,200 square feet while the 3-bedroom units are approximately 1,400 to 2,100 square feet. Prices range from around $200,000 up to over $900,000 (3-bedroom units).

The Fifth & Poplar Building is Clean and Secure

The complex itself shows the pride of ownership of the people living there. The HOA covers all the things you’d expect including property upkeep. The common areas are clean and safe as every entrance to the building requires keyed access. Parking is in a secure, underground garage as mentioned above. Garbage, water and sewer are included in the HOA dues, with dues varying based on the size of the unit. They start at about $300/month and go up from there.

At Fifth and Poplar you will find a wonderful fitness room offers weights and top-of-the-line equipment with corresponding televisions. Other amenities include 24-hour concierge service free coffee and a Wi-Fi lounge. You can also find a pool table with a large screen TV, outdoor courtyard with pool, putting green, fountain and grilling area. An active night life scene as well as tons of shops and nearby necessities (think grocery store merely a few steps away, Starbucks, quaint diners, dry cleaner, banks) guarantee that someone will be out and about at any time of day or night. Guilty pleasures abound with lots of fabulous restaurants nearby including Basil Thai Cuisine, only one block away, Fourth Ward Bread Company, Curio City Kitchen and the Dandelion Market, just minutes away…and so many more wonderful restaurants.

Your friends might want to carpool when they come to visit. While you can certainly find free street parking, it won’t always be directly in front of the building, depending upon the day of the week and the time of day they are visiting. There is paid parking conveniently available directly across the street.
