Included in Newsweek’s Top 100 High Schools in America, this prestigious high school has been an award-winning school nearly from its inception.
Providence High School offers a disciplined course of study with multiple levels of learning opportunities for its students and one of Charlotte’s most rigorous Advanced Placement and Honors courses.
Nearly 98 % of all Providence students enrolled in AP courses, and over 80% of those students receive college credit for those courses. SAT scores are also high with the average score of Providence students is 1151, while the national average is 1016 and the state average is 1006.
Providence High School is not just ‘any old’ high school–students are truly school spirited just as in the ‘old’ days!
