Thankfulness is a state of mind, a feeling or expression of gratitude--something we choose to ponder or express. I don’t often enough share my appreciation of others in my life; as much as I ‘feel’ gratitude, the sharing of it is what truly means more than just keeping my own thoughts to myself. In our home, today is post-hospital day 1 for my husband, who spent just over 2 weeks in the hospital. Our lives were turned topsy-turvy once again for a few weeks as we struggled to maintain normalcy in our lives but, more importantly, to help him heal.
