Foxcroft Market Report March 2011

Foxcroft Market Report March 2011

Foxcroft and Foxcroft East are full of rich Charlotte history. Morrocroft Farms, a working dairy farm, owned by the Harris family, was sold and developed in the 1940’s.  The community was then, and remains, one of the most sought-after areas in Charlotte. Foxcroft, the tip of Myers Park, is nestled comfortably between Eastover and SouthPark.

Homes for sale in Foxcroft and Foxcroft East Neighborhoods range from $400,000 to over $2.5 million with homes built in the 30‘s situated beside renovated or re-built homes recently completed.  The homes are surrounded by gorgeous century-old oaks and on large, private lots.  Older classic ranches and two stories are surrounded by stately rench Provincial and Tudor homes.

The proximity to everything Charlotte is one of the primary attractions to this historic community.  Dine out at any number of fine restaurants a mere 5 minutes away!  SouthPark, Cotswold or Uptown–just a quick drive away from this lovely community!

This property is served by three of Charlotte’s premier schools:  Selwyn Elementary School, Alexander Graham Middle School (AG) and Myers Park High School, one of the nation’s top ranked high schools.  The premier school assignments are a draw to this community as well.

Foxcroft real estate market report for March 2011 shown below demonstrates some promising highlights.  The 1-year sales are fairly good for a Charlotte luxury home community.  Despite no Closings during the past 90 days, there are 4 pending escrow home sales in the community, topping that of the previous 6-month period.  Buyers are out for early spring home shopping in Charlotte and we’re predicting a good spring market.
