Charlotte REGION Sees 7% Rise in Year-Over-Year Home Prices
Home prices for the Charlotte area, including distressed sales, increased 7 percent in March compared with the same time last year, according to CoreLogicInc.’s index report released today.
The Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill metropolitan statistical area also showed a larger increase in month-over-month figures, compared with earlier reports. March’s home prices rose 2.9 percent from February’s figures. That’s a marked improvement from February’s monthly numbers, when home prices edged up only 0.4 percent from January.
