Ballantyne Festival, A HUGE Success! This first annual event, much like the urban Midwood Maynia, included a parade of politicians, a chili cook-off, lots of children’s activities, music and fabulous food!   The political  candidates (from both parties, from local to national levels) were out mingling with the attendants as well as serving up the chili for those attending the 2011 Ballantyne Festival.
