Charity-Driven Taco Eatery to Debut in the Charlotte Region
Tacos 4 Life will open a new 3,800-square-foot restaurant Tuesday, April 10. This isn’t just your ordinary taco restaurant; it’s a charity-focused eatery that donates proceeds to Feed My Starving Children in Swaziland & Honduras.
The new location, at 2940 Derita Road in Concord at Christenbury Corners, is being developed by Karas Properties. Chip and Kim Ladigo are behind the venture and plan to open four additional locations in the Charlotte region – all in an effort to end world hunger.
The taco-heavy menu (a variety of 14 different tacos) will include choices such as grilled chicken, classic beef and steak, crispy eggplant, Korean BBQ steak and crab cake tacos as well. Yes, I said crab cake tacos – YUM!
Other scratch-made menu items will include Mexican cobb salad, chicken quesadilla, southwest rice bowls, ultimate nachos, Mexican creamed corn and cilantro pesto rice.
The concept got its start in Conway, Arkansas, in 2014, currently with 11 locations. We hope you’ll generously support the cause and frequent this wonderful eating establishment often. Enjoy!
