Despite last weeks abnormal winter weather, the Charlotte NC real estate market continues down the road of a strong recovery process! With typical winter season decreased sales, prices conversely continue to rise and our inventory remains quite low as we move into the spring selling season. Here are the numbers for the week.
The following are the totals for the Charlotte real estate market…
Pending home sale in Charlotte (Charlotte Proper only), have increased by 13.3%. There are 310 homes that were entered into Escrow during the past 7 days. Average price per square foot has gone up 13.7% to $107. Charlotte average sales prices rose a whopping 10.8% to $235,267.
A 3.8 month supply of homes (condos, townhomes, single family homes and lots) are currently for sale in the Charlotte (city) market, down 36.9% from last year. Closed home sales were up 24.9% year-over-year. There are currently only 3,745 properties for sale (active) in the city of Charlotte! 294 new single family, condo/townhomes and lots were listed during the past 7 days.
