The last 3 months in luxury sales have demonstrated a true recovery in the Charlotte real estate market. Typically in a down market, the luxury home market is the last one to rebound and the recent years have been no exception to that rule.

In Charlotte our luxury homes range anywhere from the mid-$400’s to the millions but, for this report, we pulled data from MLS (deemed reliable but, not guaranteed) at a beginning price of $500,000. The average sales price in the top three communities was $919,958 and the average square feet of the sold properties was 3,975. Average days on the market are just under 100 in these 3 luxury home communities in Charlotte.
