Dilworth’s popularity is unmatched in our area and touring the community listings this week, left no wonder in my clients’ minds either - they were quite pleased to discover Dilworth. As well, my relocating clients are sad to leave their amazing home here. SouthPark Market Report – AUGUST 2018
SouthPark Market Report - AUGUST 2018 SouthPark is a prestigious address that offers wonderful proximity to everything Charlotte. We are 12 minutes from Uptown and 12 minutes from Ballantyne (north and south) and the same distance from Cotswold on the east side and Dilworth on the west side. It really doesn't get more 'central' than that, does it?! The central location in the city may just be the reason that SouthPark is one of the southeast's largest live/work communities as well. A variety of housing styles fill the SouthPark community, ranging from 1950’s ranch properties in Beverly … Continue reading...

Phase I was built in the mid 1980's with the final phase of the neighborhood (Phase IV), being completed in the mid 1990's. A touch of the ‘burbs’ right in the heart of the city, this affluent neighborhood with established homes on beautiful winding roads, is mere … Continue reading...

Market Report Zip Code 28104 | JULY 2018
Market Report Zip Code 28104 | JULY 2018 Matthews & Weddington share zip code 28104, and both continue to show strong performance in home sales, with diminishing days-on-the-market and increased interest in the area. The history in Matthews runs deep, but most of the town’s 25,000 residents have relocated to Matthews in the past decade, attracted by affordable homes in beautiful new subdivisions, strong schools, lower taxes and the historic, pedestrian-friendly downtown. Some historic Matthews homes remain around the fringes of Matthews town center, however the Matthews area has seen … Continue reading...
Charlotte Airbnb Dream Boutique
Charlotte Airbnb Dream Boutique The creators of Airbnb realized there is a rental niche that many travelers would prefer, given the choice between a hotel ‘room’ and vacationing in a ‘home’ that is more appealing to most. Just as they realized that niche need in 2008, ten years later with Charlotte being a city in top demand for Airbnb lodging, it’s time someone focused on the Airbnb set-up niche in residential real estate. And, here we are! What is an Airbnb? Airbnb is an online marketplace which lets people rent out their properties or spare rooms to guests.Airbnb takes 3% commission of … Continue reading...

Scooter Sharing in Charlotte
Scooter Sharing in Charlotte First, it was dock-less rental bikes. Now, it's motorized two-wheeled scooters from Bird, Lime and Spin. They're appearing under a pilot program that's running parallel to the dock-less bike trial that is already underway and has been a bit hit for in-town Charlotte residents thus far. Showing property in Uptown this week, I found them all over the place! Most were in use and most were following the safety (with the exception of using helmets) and parking guidelines. This is a new and exciting 'spin' on Charlotte transportation - just another jewel in the Queen … Continue reading...
