47,353 homes (single family, condos/townhomes, lots) were sold in the city of Charlotte in 2017, further reducing our inventory significantly.   Because of the greatly reduced supply, many buyers are simply not finding what they’re looking for within the current available inventory!

Current Inventory in all of Mecklenburg County is down 14.0%.  NOTE:  In FEB 2005 (the height of the Charlotte real estate market), the inventory was at a 10.6 month supply; compare that to the current, 1.7 month supply.
